What props did you use at your maternity photo session?

Our maternity session is this Saturday, and they told me to bring anything special I wanted photos with (Like baby shoes).
We don't have anything...we have no special stuffed animals, no shoes of any kind. Any ideas? I was thinking of buying a giant Christmas bow to put on my belly for one shot...

Good question. I would google images of pregnant woman and see what others have used. You might get some really great ideas.

We didn't use any. I like the little letter blocks spelling out boy, girl, baby, or the baby's name. I like the Christmas bow idea, too.

Letter blocks...baby shoes....and a build a bear DH made for him.

We used little shoes and wooden blocks to spell out DS's name. The blocks were a gift from DH's grandparents so they were special to us.

I like the idea of a christmas bow!! Very cute!!

A christmas bow and ribbon with a sign that his/her name on it would be cute.

We did his little jordans, a future laker hat (for daddy), blocks that spell out boy, ultrasound picture. and blue cotton candy. The cotton candy was fun and I can't wait to see those pics.

We used a little chalkboard platter - (see in my siggy)

and we also used a guitar because DH is a musician and always singing to LO. Like in this one:

 

 

I also think that little shoes would be great - or even a big bunch of balloons for a playful theme.

what did you do with the cotton candy??

DH and I played kiddie with it, we fed each other. It was just the whole concept of it being blue for a little boy. You know something different.

we used blocks, shoes (2 different pairs) - little white mary janes and little pink ballet slippers with ribbon ties (b/c I used to dance), and we used a big ribbon sash in red (got one of those sash on a rolls from walmart) it looks really cute tied around the belly- I looked through flickr like crazy before my shoot a decided what I wanted.

My hubby is an Aussie so I wrapped my belly in an Australian flag for some of my pics, they we're my favorite by far
