31 week appt?

Tomorrow is my 31 weeks appt- does anyone know what they normally do at this one? Is there a website or chart of what they normally do at each appt? google is not being very helpful. I really just want to know if I'll get an u/s or a pelvic exam.  The last several appts have just been: pee in a cup, weight, blood pressure, any questions, ok bye.

It was about the same as pee in the cup, weight, blood pressure, and any problems and out the door you go.

all of my appointments up until the one i had last friday were the same... weight, urine sample, blood pressure, measure belly, feel around at baby's position, ask how i am doing. basically 5 - 10 min little visits haha

You probably won't experience anything different until 36 weeks, when a lot of doctors start internals. ?

This. You really don't have a different appointment until about 36 weeks then you get the group B strep culture and an internal. I've heard some of the girls say they had theirs a little eailier or later based on their OBs or MWs.

Thanks ladies!  I figured it would be more of the same until the appts got to be every week. I had just heard a friend's coworker who is also around 31 weeks got an ultrasound at her last appt, but the info was 2nd hand knowledge so not sure if it is correct.

I'm not sure if my appointment was at 31 or 32, but either way, I had an ultrasound to check position. Then the usual, peeing in a cup, weight, BP and fundal height.

Mine was just pee, blood pressure, weight, measure belly, listen to heart beat.  I will have no more ultrasounds unless there is a problem.  First internal exam will be in a little over two weeks at my 34 week appt.

Pretty much.  It's all the same up til the 36-37 week.

They also did my last routine blood work at that appointment.

I was told at my 20 week appt when I had my anatomy scan that I would probably not have another US because everything looked fine.  They said the only reason that the docs in my group practice would do a scan is if there is a problem.  I know a coworker that goes to the same practice as me had to have an US at about 36 weeks because the doctor she saw wasn't 100% sure if the baby was fully head down.  I think that all depends on your doctor.  But my appts at this point are all the same- weight, BP, measure, heartbeat, and ask if I have questions or problems.  They told me at my 30 week that I wouldn't probably even need bloodwork again since I had a bunch done with the GD test and all was fine.  The appts take about 15 min for me, unless i feel chatty.

generally, they all tend to be the same up until 36 wks when they typically start to check you.  Unless you're a high-risk pregnancy, everything should be same-same as it has been.
