DD has acid reflux so I had to stop nursing and give her formula. The only formula that has decrease her spit up is enfamil AR. However this formula makes her very constipated. She cries and pushes for about 10 minutes everytime she poops. Dr. suggested to give her 2 formulas. 3 bottles of enfamil AR and 2 of enfamil lipil. I googled and there is a lot of mix opinions about this. I don't like her Dr. I already found a new but I won't see her new Dr. until January. So I was wondering if anyone here has any experiences with mixing formulas. how long should I do this for? Thanks
Re: Can I mix 2 formulas?
I used to take the end of one formula and mix it with the start of a new can (different brand). DD never had any weird reactions.
I know all about pushing and crying when they are pooping, it's awful. Ella is on Mirilax right now for it. I'm not sure how old your DD is (I can't see your siggy in the reply box) but my ped told me milk of magnesia works ( it didn't for us, but others have told me it does).
