HCG Level 730 on 17 dpo! Is that normal???

Hey bumpettes!

I just got my HCG level back. I only got it done to make sure that everything was alright bc I am a crazy control freak.... haha. I took the blood test when I was 17 DPO, and it came back at 730!

That is way high for 17 dpo. At 17 DPO, the average HCG level is 132 mIU/ml, with a typical range of 17-429 mIU/ml.

What do you think could be going on? Is my baby okay, you think? I don't have my first appointment until December 16th, and I am losing it!

Agreed - multiples would be so great!

The range of "normal" hcg is so huge! My level at 15dpo was only 46. I'm waiting for beta #2 results to come in on Monday from 19dpo.

Also, what did your dr. say?

Also, you may have ovulated earlier in the month than you thought, which means you could be a few days further along

My beta at 17dpo was 1350, and 21dpo was 7000. I don't have an ultasound until 12/14 but I'm assuming I'm pregnant with one. I can't imagine having twins (eeek) so I'm pretending its not possible.

Also, I started throwing up with m/s on 3w5d. I attribute that to my hcg levels being high and nothing else.

Also, I definitely didn't ovulate earlier, my chart is so dramatic. See... I stopped at 18dpo, so it doesnt continue. Here is my chart...

Beta levels are so different. They sometimes make no sense other than telling you you're pregnant! You can see the wide ranges of single and twin pregnancies at www.betabase.info! CONGRATS:)
