Pre-Op appt was uneventful

in 3rd Trimester

Verified my insurance, address, employer, next of kin, religious preferences, medical history, current medical health, family health history, listened to the baby for 5 minutes, blood pressure, and got to meet and talk to an anesthesiologist and he checked my back (probably for a tramp stamp, which I do not have). They're saving the blood draw for Monday.

Catheter is being placed AFTER my spinal... HOORAY.

Now it's just tick-tock-tick-tock until Monday.

Oh, and I'm in denial. In case anyone was wondering.

    Good luck on Monday!  Just think, this is your last Friday night to yourself without a baby!! :)  Better do something fun!

    I'm lying on my couch with a bottle of water on my ankles because they are the size of oranges. PARTY TIME!!!!! lol Party!!!

    After my appointment my anxiety subsided a bit. Now I'm just flat out in denial. Like, I just looked at my ticker: 38w5d? WTF? Seriously? Who actually thinks they will ever get this far? If you would have asked me at 10w or even 21w I would have been like, naah I'll NEVER get there! 

    Weird. I am having a baby on Monday. Weird.

    Thank you! I'm hoping I get that full term burst of energy nesting instinct tomorrow. I have a lot to clean and organize!!

    Nope, you're not having a baby and moving to 0-3. You will have your baby AFTER me and we will join 0-3 then.

    That's the plan.
