Femme, Goose and FNNYCGTG Girls

FNNYCGTG = Fabulous Nesties' NYC GTG

Darlings,

Also remember that DH is a very well-connected chef in the city. He can probably make a few calls to see if he can get us a reduced rate for food, too. You know, unless you want to go to Lucky Cheng's, heh heh.

As for the hotel, you'd book the room under one card, but at check-in, you can give them multiple cards to put on file.

And, depending on whether I decide to stay in the city or at home, Hotel Happ may be open to 1-2 girls and kiddos.

Anyway, DH said he just needs a date and a # of people.

Re: Femme, Goose and FNNYCGTG Girls

  • Happ, you're awesome! So far it looks like the majority want March 27th. We still need to nail down a number, though, as far as how many want to attend.

Goosie, any idea how to best do that? Is there any way we can get an idea of cost (for rooms) before we ask people to commit?

  • Don't make fun, I spent one of my bachelorette nights at Lucky Chengs getting a lapdance and balls/boobs in my face. I need to find those pics.

  • Thanks for the info, Happ!

Femme - we need to establish a cut off date. The 27th looks like the clear winner, as far as dates are concerned. So, all we need to do now is tell people that they have to let us know by such and such a date that they're 100% coming.

ETA: Based on the # of people, we'll determine how many rooms we'll need. And, if you decide you can't go afterwards, then we either drop a room or some people may have to pay a little more. However, I'd rather throw a rollaway bed into a four person room before that happens. We'll figure it out.

And, if you don't sign up by the cut off date, then you SOL. We'll catch you on the flip side in the next city GTG

Femme - is there a way to set up registration on the blog? You know, where people can give us their real name, phone number and email address and desired roommates (if already determined)?

Happ - how soone does the hubs need to know? His timeline is our timeline, kwim?

    LMAO... find the pics.

I can do either ... just need to know ahead to schedule myself off of work.

  • I would need at least a ballpark figure for # of people, and how many to a room.

Also, FB hates me. I tried to log on last night but wasn't able to see anything except all your exchanges on the thread--but I couldn't post. boo.

I'm sure there must be, but I'll have to ask some people to find out. Worry not. I'll look into it.

  • Okay - this is what I'll do. I'll create a registration form of sorts in word and attach it to the blog. Those interested will be asked to fill it out (name, nestie name, email address and desired roommates, if know).

This obviously isn't committing anyone. I'll give people until Wednesday (is that too late? too soon?) to do this. Based on the responses, we'll be able to give your DH a ballpark #. Then, he can find out how much it would be per room, which we'll, in turn, divide by four (which seems to be the logical number to room/bathroom).

Once we have those deets, we'll post the info and people will have until such and such a date to make their reservations (one person from the group). If people aren't grouped, we can do that for them or if it's off by just a couple, we'll see what it would cost to add a rollaway bed to a room of four.

    Does that work for you?

OH - and we'll also need to see how many locals will be driving/ferrying/training it in, but attending for dinner purposes and stuff. however, those girls are welcome to get a room and stay with the out of towners.

SCRATCH the registration form - I'll do something in Google documents. They have forms. Give me few to figure something out...

  • I'm not a regular or a lurker, just a not often poster.  Could I come if I can make it?  I'm only 2 hours away.

  • girls, if it's in late March, I don't think you'd have to worry about getting #s to DH until after the holidays, that might make things easier for some people since the season is so hectic.

  • Roger that, Happ. So, how about we do this:

    1. Get a feel for how many are tentatively interested, by having them pre-register by 20 December.

    2. Based on the responses we get, we'll have a ballpark for how many would be attending, which days (both or just one) and whether they're intersted in doing dinner (for reservation purposes).

    3. Then -- once your DH figures out prices and stuff for us (early Jan?), we can have a FINAL, no shiit registration by the middle/end of January?

Does this work? And, if people who didn't pre-register want to go and there are people who did that drop out, we can just swap their places?

    Goose, that sounds perfect!
