My face has never been this bad. Broken out around my chin and hairline, then dry on my forehead. Was thinking of trying Clinique because I know if it doesn't work, I'll get my $$ back. I don't want to spend a lot, but I'll do what I have to do at this point.
What products are you guys using on your face?
Re: What are you using on your face?
I usually use Proactiv, but my dr said the toner probably wasn't a good idea during pregnancy, so I switched to Cetaphil. I'll go back to Proactiv once the little one arrives.
I found that if I use much more than Dove bar soap to wash, and Suave cocoa butter body lotion, it goes haywire. Mine is a simple face!
It's actually never been QUITE the same since I went and got a very fancy facial about... two and a half years ago. Before that it had been a few years since I had experienced acne.
just make sure you don't get the clinique face wash for acne bc I am pretty sure it has salycilic acid in it, and so do a lot of their astringents. Since pregnancy, I have been using Burt's Bee's Garden Tomato Complexion Soap. The acid in tomatoes naturally dries up break outs. I use it on my back now too and has lasted me the whole 19 weeks so far!

I am using Belli Pregnancy Acne Cleansing Facial Wash. It works really well!
I went to a dermatologist and he suggested that I try this product. He also recommend ceptaphil. For spot treatment he suggusted Tea Tree Oil, you can get this at Whole Foods and Trader Joes.
Both my Dr and dermatologist said I should stay away from proactive and other "acne" face washes bc of the salycilic acid and other chemicals!
