Why does my DH turn the TV on and then leave the room?

What is that? I work in our family room, he works upstairs. He comes in, turns on the TV, and literally doesn't even sit down, just leaves and goes upstairs.

It's puzzling.

It's genetic.  Seriously, I think it might be.  DH does the same thing.  I spend half my day on weekends turning off the TV.  He turns it back on every time he walks through the room (and without sitting down to watch it 90% of the time).  In fact, I'll go through the house and find every TV (3) randomly on without anyone watching them.

That's funny...our TV always magically turns to ESPN news whenever MH enters the room.  It's crazy! LOL

Well, I'm glad to know he's not the only one. I just find it so strange.

lol! MH will be dead tired, turns the tv on, sits on the couch and boom, he's out. Uhm...just go to bed.

are we married to the same man? DH comes home from work, changes the channel, and then disappears upstairs fort half an hour. Sometimes he doesn't realize it but he takes the remote with him!

OMG, it is so annoying! MH has to have the tv on no matter what.  Annoys the pissoutta me bc 1/2 the time he isn't even watching it bc he's on the computer doing homework!  I feel for you girl!
