 How about a $$$ ballpark of what you are looking to spend

 How hard is it to say under $500?

Frankly I would prefer just cash to piddle.

I am spending about $400  to get him a Serious satellite radio for his cars and a cd player for one car.

I have the opposite problem....dh is always telling to take x amount of money to spend to get something for myself.  BUT I'm one of freaking weird people that have a hard time spending money on myself.

dh is pretty good about buying presents...he knows me better than I know myself.

I actually made a wishlist of various things at various price points [it's got like 10 things on it] and he can then choose what he wants to buy and how much he wants to spend [he could even choose a few things as gifts].

I'm buying his lame ass a PS3 even though he's buying a boat.  I think I'm sick.
