Riley...spelling for a girl?

DH & I decided on Riley...its a family name on my side and DS already took the family name for DH's side.  Anyway, this is how its spelled in my family but its also a man's name.  We aren't the type to use "different" spelling just to make it different...like how a lot of people change i to y in names (not knocking it, its just not for us).  Just curious if this is the classic way to spell it for a girl.  Thanks!

I would spell it the same for a boy or a girl. And know boys and girls with it spelled that way.

Riley. Rylee looks too "little girl" IMO.

Riley Keough spells her name that way, so I think you're good for a girl's name

Definitely Riley. In addition to the fact that Rylee, Ryleigh, et. al. look made up, it loses the family significance IMO if you don't spell it the same way.

For a girl, spelling it "Riley" is fine, I think. I have a student named Riley who is a girl and my mom's dog is Riley too.

Any girl I've had in class with this name has spelled this way.

I know 4 Rileys, three of them spell it that way and two of those three are girls. I think this is the tradtional spelling for either a boy or girl. I would stick to this since it is how it's spelled in your family. The other way I've seen it is Reiley.

My DD as you can see from my Ticker is Riley Annalise so we loved the spelling of it in the traditional way.
