Middle name help

Our baby girl's name will be Keira. It's after DH's grandfather Kyran (pronounced keer-in)  who passed away several years ago. We are very close to my FIL (name is Joseph), so DH wants to incorporate his name somehow.....so we are thinking Keira Jo---here's the question--would you spell it the traditional "female" way, as in "Jo", or "Joe"? DH wants to do "Joe" so that it's truly after his dad...but I like "Jo" better and I think it's still representative of his father, even though it's spelled differently. Thoughts?

I vote Jo. My grandfather's name is Joe and my aunt's middle name is Jo. Her daughter is now passing it on to their baby girl! I really like it.

I would go with Josephine.  More directly relates to the person you want to honor and flows well with Keira.
