I feel very nausous, but no puking. But I also HATE throwing up, so I'm trying to hold back as much as possible. Is this considered m/s? I always thought m/s involved throwing up, but maybe I just have the nausea part. Either way, it sucks.
I haven't thrown up, but have been nausous as well. I also don't like throwing up, but I haven't had to stop myself. My doctor says everyone is different. I'm enjoying the fact that I haven't thrown up. Watch, with my luck, now that I say that, I'm going to have to run to the bathroom and do it.
This is how my m/s has been, and yeah I still consider it m/s. I'm usually okay in the morning through the early afternoon but come late afternoon/all evening I feel nauseous and just sick.
The closest I've been to actually vomitting was actually this morning when I, apparently, brushed my teeth a little too vigorously. Blah.
I, too, hate vomitting and will do whatever I can to avoid it. Sometimes I wonder if just allowing myself to do it wouldn't make me feel better, though...
ME! I am nauseas every day around 2 till I go to bed, but have only thrown up once. I think the term "morning sickness" is such a misnomer! I think it shold be something more like..oh I don't know..."All day icky feeling that makes you want to scream"!?! Just an idea! Not that I mind really...anything to let me know baby is good!

Me. I have thrown up 3 times in the past 7 weeks but have held back a lot. My DH keeps saying "wouldn't you feel better if you threw up" and I have to keep saying no, DH, then I would feel like crap after puking and the nausea would still be there.
Yes yes yes! I have had this with all of my pregnancies. I never puked but always felt like I was 2 steps away from it. Im mostly drinking tons a H2O and some of the girls recommmended the seabands and pregnancy pops to help alleviate it, Im def gonna try it.

I gag a lot when something triggers it, but I haven't thrown up yet. I HATE throwing up and have years of experience controlling sickness, so.. so far so good
Me! Every blessed day. If I truly thought throwing up would help, believe me I'd make it happen. Upside is, I won't be gaining weight over Christmas because I doubt I'll eat very much of anything. I'm currently losing weight because food or no food, I feel awful, and it's hard to eat much of anything.

My nausea was so unbearable that I started on meds for it, which helped A LOT. I couldn't even eat before it was so bad - never actually puked though. I would have much rather puked a few times in the morning and felt better, since my terrible nausea was with me ALL DAY, never went away. Now I'm weaning off my meds and so far so good!

I've only thrown up a handful of times and usually after being nauseous all day and then brushing my teeth is the clincher. I have no issues with throwing up either, I just haven't done it alot. Although I usually dry heave in the shower (heat) but I haven't eaten yet so I don't throw up. I'm most sick when I haven't eaten. And I definitely say that this is m/s! I can barely function sometimes! And throwing up is actually relief! I always feel better after it :-) Weird, I know. But it is like with a hangover, if you can just get a good puke you feel so much better! And here I thought I got to avoid hangovers for 9months...too bad m/s is worse! :-)
I too have the all day nausea. I haven't thrown up yet, but I've considered helping it along a couple of times.
It's really hard to get food in your stomach when you wake up feeling like you're going to vomit, but after I force down something I usually feel almost like a real person. And as long as I keep food in my stomach, I stay that way until I do it all again the next morning.
The whole time, I only puked a few times, but if I focused on thenausea feeling I could have... I also hate throwing up, so didnt focus on it. I found eating regularly something small (like orange or apple or pretzels, crakers) every two hours (even though it sounded disgusting) helped SOOOO much. I basically felt like I had 24/7 stomach flu and with the exhaustion it was bad....
Luckly for me its just now starting to subside and not be as intense. it peaked over thanksgiving about 10-11 weeks....
