Kid friendly CD player?

all I can find are the small ones for the car. DS asked for a cd player that he can "use". I thought they would make something really simple that is just a CD player (but looks like a small boombox) and only has the stop start ff rr buttons but can't seem to find one. Does anyone (fisher price) make something like that? I want it to play real CD's not tplastic ones that come with it KWIM?

i bought DD a cd player like you are describing at walmart for 23.99. It is not specifically "for a child" but very kid friendly. My (soon to be) 3 year old has one just like it and has been using it by herself for almost a year....your kiddo could certainly use it. The one I bought is made by Memorex. I couldnt find it online but they had it in our local store.

We have an Emerson CD player that DS got for his birthday.  It is very kid friendly.  I think my IL's got it from Walmart.
