how old is too old for an Easy Bake Oven?

Our niece is 7 or 8 - 2nd grade, can't remember which. Her mother is being very unresponsive when it comes to giving me clothing sizes/gift ideas for her, so I've decided to just get gifts and gift receipts for her and her siblings.  Walmart has an EBO for sale right now and I thought it was a cute idea. I think I remember playing with mine at that age, but I really don't know.  Is that too old for one?

I don't think that's too old.  I think I played with mine til about 5th grade...but I was a nerd

As far as I'm concerned, you're never too old!  I saw one at target just last week and wanted one.

*gasp*  never too old for an Easy Bake Oven!    I have a convection oven that sits on my countertop that I call my easy bake oven.

My 7 yr old boy thinks they are totally cool, and he would ask for one except that would cut out the video games he'd rather have

I had one and used it at that age. I think it is more fun at that age, they understand and actually 'want' to cook! Go for it!!

I think that 2nd grade is a really good age for an Easy Bake Oven. Old enough to use it and young enough to be able to enjoy it for a few years.

I never had an EBO, but I always really wanted one.

Thanks all - looks like she's getting one!  And I have to say, the new ones look so cool, I kinda want one myself and I'm sad that DD is too young.
