Early Intervention appointment today-- and I am nervous!

I am most nervous that he'll be abnormally talkative and won't qualify for services even though he barely speaks a word at 20 months!!

    It will go fine. When DD had hers, there was a team of people and she was a little overwhelmed but loved the attention on her.

    If anything, they will be able to offer some suggestions.

    DS hardly spoke until he turned 2. After that, he just took off and has never stopped talking since. GL with your appt, but I'm sure he'll be just fine. DS never had any intervention or anything and he turned out just fine.
