Eco-Friendly Family

Christmas lists?

What do you all have on your Christmas wish list?  I am trying to come up with my list and am blanking, although I know there are some eco friendly products I have been wanting to incorporate into our lifestyle.

Also, any suggestions for Christmas presents for a 14 month old?

Re: Christmas lists?

  • my list:

knit or crochet fingerless mittens/hand warmers

    kitchen wet bag

    unpaper towels

sadly, i don't think i'm getting any of it since DH doesn't seem to be taking the hint that Etsy counts as home made for Xmas.  i may wind up with a sock puppet :-/

  • Loading the player...
  • my two aren't really EF. Originally we thought we'd ask for snow tires but then we think we're going to get a new car so snow tires wouldn't be the best thing right now.

So I replaced them with a suit and shoes for DH and a Kindle or a Flip for myself. This list is for my parents. DH and I aren't doing anything but stocking stuffers this year and we're not doing my family name draw either since we'll be with his family for 3 weeks. His family will get us random crap as usual so no point in a list though we did try to give them suggestions this year - DH needs new work shirts and I wanted new cookie trays.

  • Body Butter from the Body Shop.  Not the most EF probably but I have tried so many things from the co-op and none of them are as good, and I gave up.

    New garden gloves

New garden spade (DS stole mine for his sanbox the little booger, and now I can't find it)

A CD that I can't remember- someone's daughter- Johnny Cash's daughter maybe?  I think it is called "The List".

  • I asked my brother and mother for one of the following:

    a book of knitting patterns

and a triptych of some of my brother's photographs printed to put above our couch

Other then that I don't need anything.  DH and I are not exchanging gifts.

  • i'm asking my parents for a flip and a wii fit.  i also want an extra deep lasagna pan (my regular 13x9 pan is just NOT cutting it the way i layer that baby up - last time the lasagna was literally HIGHER than the edge of the pan!).  i'm also considering asking for some knitpicks interchangeable harmony circular knitting needles.. or something like that..
my cool cat - er, bunny!
