Interesting bit in Oprah mag about adoption and PPD

I know there are a few families on here that are or have considered adoption, so thought I'd mention this brief article I read in Oprah Magazine this month.  The jist of it was that post partum depression is no longer just considered a problem of women who have just given birth.  It can also appear in adoptive mothers just after bringing baby home.  I thought that was really interesting.  I'm glad to know that some interest is being directed at the unique emotional circumstances of adoptive parents.

That is really interesting. I'm with you, I'm glad someone's looking at emotional struggles for all parents, that way it becomes less taboo and more help may be available for anyone who needs it.
