Will I be able to see anything?

I was already scheduled to have a vaginal ultrasound on Dec. 7th for the doc to have another gawk at my ovarian cyst, and now they are going to do a pregnancy confirmation then too. Will the baby be visible?  Am I likely to get a heartbeat?

I am really nervous and wary of this pregnancy, since I m/c'd last month at 6 weeks, so I'd love to know what to expect if things are going well.  I proooobably just hit 6 weeks today; it's very vague since I didn't have a period in between m/c and getting pregnant again.

They should be able to see something at that point if you are 6 weeks today.

You may be able to see a little bean in there...you'll be 7 weeks correct?

I had my first u/s at 6 wks 2 days and I could definitely see the little bean! ?The heartbeat wasn't visible yet, but my doctor said it develops between 6 and 7 weeks. ?Since I m/c last time before 6 weeks, he is having me go back on Wed (I will be 7 wks 5 days) and he said we should definitely be able to see it then. ?So... to answer your question- you should definitely be able to see something and will probably be able to see the heartbeat. ?Good luck!

Sorry to hear about your m/c but It's almost unbelieveable that you got PG the very next month. Wow.

I had mine at 6 weeks 6 days and we saw it very clearly with the little heartbeat

ladyharper- i'm in the same boat! i m/c last month and never got my period back.  i have a pretty good idea of how far along i am based on how many stinkin tests i took.  i am having my beta levels drawn a couple times a week and will go in for an ultrasound at the end of next week.  i should be 6 1/2 - 7 wk and hoping to see that little heartbeat!

trish62505--Awesome! Best of luck to you. Here's for healthy heartbeats for both of us! I was too cheap to POAS more than once (it was the last one in the box), so I waited until I was pretty sure before I took the test.  They haven't taken betas yet for me, but the vampires are undoubtably waiting to pounce.
