i've been to several showers and parties where people don't rsvp. I've even known them to call the person who the party/shower is for instead of calling the hostess. I don't know why for my shower I thought it would be different. Anyway we invited abour 60 people and only 15-20 have rsvp'd so fa,r should I be worried? How many should the hostess plan for? My shower is this Sunday. And so far only one item has been purchased off my registry.
Re: rsvp??
I would definitely plan for more than 15 or 20 people. Some people just don't take those things seriously...not sure why not.
Don't worry too much about the shower gift....if they're anything like me they'll be picking up gifts on the way to the shower.
Your hostess needs to start calling people. THey don't RSVP, they get a call saying "Hey- just wanted to find out if yo uplan on coming to the shower this weekend!".
Absolutely nothing wrong w/ this.
