"funny from the nurse"

Hi All,

I talked to the RE's nurse today because we had to cancel the 3rd IUI because of my DH's back.  She started the conversation by asking if we were able to have TI even though we had to cancel the IUI.  I burst out into hysterical laughter.  I told her that if we were able to have TI, then I would have been able to have the IUI.  I proceeded to ask her what the doctor's recommendation will be, either do the 3rd IUI or go right on to IVF.  Her response was, "Well, Lisa, you know that for either, you need sperm."

 Really, no kidding!  I am still waiting for the RE to get back to me.  Seriously!!!!!!!

Wow she just taught me something...I had no idea that it took sperm! Maybe that is my problem.

I said the exact thing to my mother!  I learned that sperm was needed!!!!  My DH who is not as easy going as I am, did not find her comments "amusing" at all.

I actually visualized my hands going through the phone after her.
