DH just called and our good car is broken down about 40 miles away.  Thank god he has friends who own a tow service, but it's going to cost us about $300 to get whatever belts and pulleys are broken fixed.

Oh no!  And when it's broken down, it's not like you have a choice to fix it.  My car needs some fixing that would cost $475, but we can wait to do it cuz it's not affecting how well it drives.  I'm always sorry to hear about car trouble...so annoying!!
