Yes, we're definitely finding out the sex of the baby. I can't wait until the baby's born. I'm really bad with delayed gratification.
And yes, we did have the early testing done. They now have serial sequential testing, which wasn't around when I was pg with DS, so I had an u/s last week, followed by a blood test, and then another blood test next week. It's supposed to give us better odds of having birth defects/Downs. I'm not sure we'll actually do anything if we come up high risk or not, but I figure it's always good to have information.
Thanks for asking! How are your adorable kiddos?

I was all about finding out with DD and with my DS I knew he was a boy from the day before he was implanted (we had IVF with PGD). I know, crazy.
I had that too with Colin but it was just one blood test. Things have changed so much. I liked having the early screening. My doctor didn't think it was necessary since I had the PGD but I was still insistent on having it to make sure the baby was ok. It's definitely good to have the information. I always said I would do an amnio but only if I got bad results.
The kids are good. Both have colds and coughs which is the norm around my house! Colin just started learning how to feed himself. Before he would take the puffs and they would be stuck to his face and what-not. NOw he actually gets them in his mouth and just puts a ton in there!!! Which freaks me out. I am so afraid of choking.
