So, I can't really tell from your pics but did you already have a belly before getting pregnant? I am bigger and carry most of my weight in the belly (dang it!) so feel like I will never really look pregnant, just fatter
As soon as I had a "real" bump I showed it off. My boobs have actually stayed the same size (Thank God) so now my belly is sticking out further than my boobies!
I started showing at about 20 weeks. For a couple weeks it was bigger on the top than the bottom... thanks to the lovely "b" belly. I have totally rounded out now... that finished at about 26 weeks.
Wear maternity fit shirts or empire waisted with maternity FULL panel jeans and you will get a more rounded belly look.
Of course it all depends on how you carry your weight. I have always had an hourglass figure, but definitly have belly weight too. I was a 18-20 pre pregnancy.
Will my icky spare tire turn to baby belly, so no one will get grossed out when they do ultrasounds?
I learned early on that ultrasound techs DO NOT care. They see all shapes and sizes all day long. I had no issues getting clear pics at 11, 16, 19, 23 weeks.
For the early on pics (when the baby is really low still) if you have the lower belly flab, you may have to lift it up for them a bit. But honestly they are pretty non-chalant about it.
How much weight have you gained so far? And thank you for doing this lol
I am curious about this too, I was told to try not to gain more than 15lbs or so. I think I am still the same weight I was for my first appt (maybe) but this does have me a bit worred.

PS Hello fellow Coloradan
I figure I will probably end up around 20lbs give or take a few. Unfortunatly I was in a car accident at 16 weeks, so I had to stop doing my gym routine.
I love seeing the progression pictures. This is my 3rd pregnancy and I'm a lot bigger than I was with my first two, and I've been wondering when I'm going to start showing. I'm almost 11 weeks now and I look like your 20 week pic, so I guess I am showing in my own way. What does "B belly" stand for?
How did you do so well with not gaining too much so far? With my m/s I've had a really hard time with what I'm eating. It's mostly carbs and although I haven't really gained in my butt or legs, it's been mostly in my belly and boobs. I've gained at least 15 lbs so far. My doctor said to just get through the 1st tri and then she would put me on the diabetic diet that is less carbs so hopefully that will help. The weight gain is something I'm really worried about.
I have been eating "pretty well"... not terrile, but far from perfect! I eat lots of fruits and veggies... along with my carbs. I do think about what I put into my body more than ever!
Re: Any curvy mommas have questions for a 3rd tri curvy girl?

Everyone is different, but I remember having so many questions in first tri! I wish I had someone at the time to ask them to!
