In additon to my prenatal - how much more folic acid should I be taking???

None, your prenatal should have 800mcg of folic acid. That is all you need.

I just drink a glass of oj if I remember and that's all.

Your PNV should be enough.  You need about 1000 mcg (or 1 mg). Most PNVs have 1 mg.

My doctor said at least 1000 grams of folic acid.  Since most PNV only have about 800 mcg I'm taking an additional 400 mcg of folic acid.  I'm not sure if that is because I am at higher risk because of my uterus or not but that's what I've been taking since before we started trying.

THIS.... except mine only has 800 so my RE had me add extra to get it up to that amount.
