Those with furbabies

I have noticed that both of my dogs and been really snuggly with me latley, my one little girl will sit on my lap with her head on my belly. She usually hangs out with DH most of the time but not the last week or so.

Maybe I am just over analyzing it but they say that pets have a good sense of change.

Anyone else noticed a change in their pets?

My cat has been laying on my legs/belly every night. He is not a cuddeler so it is very odd.

hhhaa, I feel the same way.. My doggy is a daddys girl, but lately she comes to me.. IDK if I'm just thinking its because I'm pregnant, but it feels like she is a little closer to me.

I love my furbaby, who we recently adopted (she's a rescue dog) but I will not let her anywhere near me in the near future since we discovered ticks all over her and our house this weekend. Still so grossed out.  ::shiver::

Nope.  My cat is still her independent self.  I wish she would be more cuddly, but she likes her private time.

I noticed this a long time ago.  My boxer has to be near me alot and is realy snuggly.  He started to sniff at me alot early on.  My yorkie was the same.  She now is even more attached to me at all times.  The boxer kisses my belly where the baby is almost everyday.  Its really cute.  She just still sniffs.  But shes not overly kissy like he is.  Enjoy it.  I think letting them is important.  It keeps them involved in the baby and hopefuly will help them adjust when baby is here.

My sweet kitty like to snuggle right up to my belly lately. DH and I joke that she is keeping the baby warm Oscar, my insane dog, is still his normal crazy self.

its hard to tell with two of mine..they are always glued to me anyways, but my male cat, who is never much of a snuggler, is now always wanting to lay on me!   I love it!

My cat is 3.5 years old and hasn't sat on my lap since she was a kitten.  About a month ago (before my BFP), she walked right on to my lap while I was sitting on the couch, curled up, and slept for an hour.  She started doing it every day.  About two weeks later, I got my BFP.  Looking at the calendar, I was already pregnant the first time she did it, and I didn't even know it.  And she's been sleeping on my lap ever since.

my cat has been really cuddly with me as of late, and he's normally the type to be just an arms-legth away from you. This morning I woke up to him petting himself with my arm. It is interesting. I swear he knows when I'm not feeling well.

YES! both of my cats follow me around like a shadow and sleep on the side of me every night! My DH thought I was crazy...glad to see this is happening to other ladies

I have 2 dogs. My black lab, always has to be with me even if I go to the bathroom. When I shut the door she will lay down outside the door until I come out. My american bulldog always has to curl up as close to my belly as she can when I am laying down. I love it!

That's sooo funny, my boxer started acting like that this morning and I didn't even think it could be because I'm PG.

 He's usually hyper and jumpy, and all morning he was attached to my leg and laying on my feet any time I paused. It's really sweet

both of our cats have been extraordinarily snuggly lately - and always want to snuggly up on my tummy. I keep saying "what are you going to do when Momma's belly get too big for you to sit on!?" and they just look at me, as if to say "oh shut up, I'm sleeping"

or I tell Maggie to come and keep the baby warm, and she'll curl up on my belly

My dog is always extremely cuddly... always pushing in between me and DH to get some attention.  So I can't tell if it's because I'm pregnant or not!  She just has no idea how much her life is about to change! Haha!

My american bulldog has been much more protective of me. He'll bark at something then come over to me, lick me, and sit down in front of me. So loving.

I have 3 male yorkies and a female cat.  My dogs are always glued to me, but my cat has been sleeping on my belly, which she's never done.  When I'm not feeling well, her purring actually makes me feel better.

DH and I have both noticed that. My dog is glued to my side and will NOT lay on DH if I am anywhere near. If I get up to go to the bathroom, she's coming with.

Yes! I feel like both my little girl & my little boy are more snuggly lately. Extra kissy & lovey dovey too! I definitely think my boy is a little more protective than usual. They are both tea cup yorkies, but the boy thinks he is a pit bull! So funny!
