How long have you been around the boards?

I know there are join dates, but I am just wondering how you ended up at BOTB.  Did you start with the knot or the nest, try out other boards first?  Just curious, if you don't mind sharing.

This is my second SN.  My first SN had my DOB and first name.  I have been around since O4.  I was on Fall Weddings on the Knot and TN. I kept hearing horror stories about BOTB, started lurking fell inlove and stayed.  I started posting here right around my wedding. We were TTC before we got married.

Creepin' up on 3 years. I lurked on the Knot and around the Nest before getting married but never posted. I stumbled upon BOTB after getting married, before we were TTC and loved the crowd so I started posting and was never able to leave. LOL

I didn't find it fitting once I was married so I went simple and changed it.

I used The Knot for wedding planning, and lurked the boards there, but didn't post.  I started lurking The Nest boards (before The Bump was around) after we got married and loved BOTB.  I posted occasionally when we started TTC but not enough to be considered a regular.  After the m/c's and stuff I stopped coming here because it was too hard.  I posted on the Pets board a lot before I got pregnant, and then rediscovered my love for BOTB during my first trimester.

This is also my second screen name.  My first was too personal and I didn't/don't want to be recognized by patients of our clinic that may be on the bump.  I have been around the knot since 2005.  I would come here to play on occasion when BOTB was part of the nest, there was no bump and this board resembled something between first tri and baby gaga but that was long long ago.

This I remember.  If I recall there was really only one "getting pregnant" board and it was botb...I think there was parenting as well, but I am not sure what else.

I've been on the Nest since 06 and lurked BOTB on and off. I've been on BOTB since late 07 but really made it my home board sometime in 08 I believe. It all kind of runs together.

I was on the knot for probably at least a year before my wedding (2-29-09), mostly on and off as the mood struck me.

I had another SN before this one (it had my name in it), and I periodically lurked when I thought about babies from Jan 08 and then jumped in officially in June 08. This SN was born around August 08 or so. I was pretty active for a few months. Lately, I'm on and off, mostly lurking.

I left for a bit while DH still wasn't ready to ttc. Once we started talking seriously about it again I came back (this past August).

Was over there for a while, then started lurking elsewhere, including BOTB. Now I post more over here than over there. Mainly because I am waiting on DH to decide we will TTC.
