Put in my two-week notice today
I GOT A NEW JOBBY JOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOB!!!!!
Been wanting to say something on here for a bit, but it wasn't "official" until today. I had applied for a position with DH's company a while back, didn't hear anything, then got a phone interview and called in for a three-HOUR "live" interview a couple weeks ago.
I got the call last week offering me the job before we left for Thanksgiving. There were a TON of applicants for this position, so I am giving myself a big pat on the back.
Best part? I'm home Mondays and Tuesdays, make $10K more than I do now and can carpool with DH Wednesdays through Fridays. Bad part? I have to work Saturdays and Sundays, but it's only until 2:30 p.m. so it's not like I'll miss the whole day with the kids. And DH is fine with staying home with them alone those days. He's good like that.
EEEEEEEE!! I am so super excited. In case you can't tell. LOL
