Sleep sheep

Do any of you use the Cloud b sleep sheep? Several of the reviews on Amazon kind of allude to using them with newborns, but I always heard that putting stuffed animals in bed with babies that young was discouraged.

We're trying to decide between the sheep and the seahorse, but we're leaning towards the sheep..

    We have the sheep & the girls seem to like it when we use the heartbeat.  He has a velcro strap that you can use to attach him to the outside of the crib so that he's not inside with your baby.

     

    (But to be honest, we've put him inside the pack n play in the living room when we were sitting right next to it.)

    The sheep has a velcro strap on it so it can be attached to the crib.  We use it and she loves it...or seems to.  I definitely recommend it.

    We got the sleep sheep as a gift and use it with our newborn.  It has a velcro attachment that I use to hang it from the side of the crib so it is not actually in the crib with him.  It has 4-5 different sounds.  I don't know if it makes that big of a difference, but I use it at night and it seems to help settle DS.  I don't have the seahorse so can't compare.

    We bought the sheep because it has more sound choices and it can be set for either 30 min or 45 min. I think I remember hearing that the seahorse only plays sounds for 10 min. The heartbeat on the sheep works wonders for our LO.

    we have the seahorse and I just ordered the Sheep because DS likes womb noises better than just music. The seahorse plays for 5 minutes and then turns off and the sheep can play longer. Fwiw we found our seahorse at Big Lots for $10.

    LOVE LOVE LOVE THE SLEEP SHEEP. it luls him to sleep nightly but i only use the ocean and rain (the heartbeat and whale are a little creepy) and it has a velcro tab that hooks around the crib so you dont have to worry about it getting in the way. i rec. it

    Thanks ladies! I read that it was attachable to the crib, but I'd kind of wondered if it would be as effective that way. Sounds like it is.
