...of how far along are you?
My ticker says 5 weeks and 3 days. So when people ask how far along I am, do I say 5 weeks or do I say 6 weeks? I've been going with the week that I'm currently in (like this week I'd say I'm 6 weeks, since 5 weeks has been completed). Is there a rule of thumb for this? Obviously, I think it'd be a little weird if I tell my friends "I'm 5 weeks and 3 days."
Thoughts?
Re: How do you answer the question...
Bar tab = $156,000, Bus to Foxwoods = $0, Puking in the Stanley Cup = Priceless
LOL!
You're 5 weeks. You are whatever week that your ticker starts with. Think of it like a birthday - the day you change to a new week is your "birthday". If you are 25 and 7 months, you still would just tell people you are 25. You don't tell people you are 26 until you actually turn 26 on your birthday.
(Most people want to know in months anyway, because unless they are or have been pregnant, weeks don't really mean anything to them This website converts weeks to months, since a month is really a little more than 4 weeks.)
Lol... that would at least explain my baby bloat. :-) (how is it possible that I've not gained any weight and yet NONE of my pants fit?!)
That site is pretty cool! Ty for posting it
