Really, really weird BF question

I had a painful lump near my left breast last night.  Assumed it was a clogged duct and put some warm compresses on it this morning.  But it started leaking breastmilk.  Not my nipple, the lump.  It's definitely looks like breast milk, not anything else, and it flows like breastmilk too, if I press it it will keep coming out.

Milk is  supposed to come  out of my nipples, am I wrong here?  This lump i about half an inch away from my nipples.  Should I call the lactation consultant?  Is this really weird?
