How is it possible to cook dinner when I am so sick?

I just threw up twice after eating my cereal, and need to pull something out of the freezer to cook for dinner tonight, but my m/s is so bad that the thought of ANYTHING makes me want to puke.  What have you done in this situation, can't give my kids pasta everynight.

  • Pizza or chik-fil-a.
  • Loading the player...
  • crock pot it sister! Thats been my saving grace!

Put everthing in fast, put it furthest away on your counter top, let DH serve out of it tonight, no mess, and little clean up!

  • I made the grocery list Saturday night when I was feeling sick so I told my H that I'm stocking up on frozen meals and easy quick fixes because I never know what I'm going to feel like eating at any given moment. Luckily he's flexible and not picky so that helps. I'm making pancakes tonight. lol

  • I have been having the same problem.  I have two other children as well so they can't eat whatever I feel like eating for dinner (french fries?!) .  I feel bad for them.  My husband has been cooking a lot more than normal.  Today I am venturing out the grocery store in hopes that something looks appealing to me and them.
  • Thanks ladies, the crock pot sounds like a great idea.  I would have DH cook, but he gets home after the kids dinner time.  All I want is french fries and chicken nuggets too.  Ahh, this is going to be a long 1st tri
  • I am so sick as well.  I can't even think about eating meat without gagging!  I already threw up in my garbabge can at work this morning.  I worry about the baby not getting enough nutrients when I can't eat!
