Clomid check while on AF??

Called today cause I started spotting and will be on CD 2-3 by thurs when I am supposed to go in for a clomid check...thought it would be canceled..they said they do them through cd 5...should this not creep me out? I feel really wierd about it! anyone have internal exams while on af or is this normal?

    ....what do you mean by clomid check?  to check your follicles? to get a baseline sonogram?  or that you started spotting in the middle of a clomid cycle?

    They need to check your ovaries and see where they are starting from and if everything is ok, such as no cysts. The techs are used to doing a vaginal ultrasound when you are on your period so don't worry. It is ideal to be monitored closely when on Clomid. GL!

    from what they said, I Thought it was going to be an internal exam to feel for cysts by the dr.  Is this correct?  It is after 2 failed cycles of clomid

    I'm a little confused...a check for what?  All baseline checks are done on cd3 (well...2-4) so if AF had not showed by thursday, then it would have been cancelled, but not if she did.

    and yes, the exam is a new level of embarrassing but they are used to it.

    2 years, 2 surgeries, 2 clomid fails, 2 IUIs, 1 loss, IVF #1 - 10/25/10 = BFP!, DS is now 3.5yrs!
    TTC #2 - 6/12 surgery #3, FET #1 & 1.2 = BFN, 12/2012 FET #2 = BFP! DD is 1.5 yrs!
    Surprise! 12/16/14 BFP, loss #2 12/31/14

    I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929

    not really sure, they said to check for cysts before going on it for a 3rd month or tring something else.  It was scheduled right when I started my second month on it.  it will be cd 3
