Update: 19 year old SIL is really getting married...

In July 2010, so just a few months away. She's told my ILs that they're getting married "no matter what" so the ILs are pretty hamstrung at this point and just praying it falls apart like the other dozen or so "loves of her life" this year.

And THIS charming picture is what's going in the paper as their engagement picture.

Awesome.  Well, there's still 6-7 months for things to fall apart.  From what you've said about her I'd say there's at least a 50/50 shot that they will NOT be getting married next year.

How horrid (the situation).  I can genuinely say I feel sorry for their future children.  The universe hates infertile women, so I predict a baby in their very near future.
