My step-nephew (? ...step-brother in law's son) was a character at Thanksgiving dinner Friday night.
He kept taking this remote control car from his little brother, and the adults in the room (including me and his dad) all were telling him to share. Finally, his dad had enough and told him to stop or he was going to get a spanking. Then he talked back, so his dad bent him over his lap and hit his butt (not hard at all) and stood him back up. Nephew acted like he was going to cry, so my BIL asked him if he was going to be a baby. Nephew said in the cutest voice ever "No daddy, I'm a big boy. Big boys don't cry."
Re: In need of entertainment
My friend's almost 3 year old had a new knock-knock joke to share on Thanksgiving:
Knock knock.
Who's there?
Banana.
Banana who?
MY PAAAAANTS! *followed by maniacal laughter and jumping up and down*
One of the cutest kids. Ever.

I had to stop myself from busting out laughing.
