Speaking of Diapers... I'm so confused!?!?!

Last week LO was weighing 7lbs 7 oz. He has been leaking out of the top on his back of his Newborn size diapers everyday, several times a day. I have tried switching from Pampers to Huggies with no help. The size 1's look HUGE on him and I am nervous to use them since his umbilical cord has still yet to fall off. Please ANY suggestions????

This. The hospital I delivered at actually didn't use newborn diapers. They use Pampers size 1. She was in size 1 when she was 6 pounds 12 ounces at birth!

This!!!  At our hospital they only use size 1's.  When we got home I tried the newborns for about two days, but thought they were too small so we went back to 1's.

If you are not already doing this, point his peen down.  This will save you a lot of leaky diapers.

We HAD to use Size 1s with DS, he was a full 9lbs when he was born. It looked huge at first, but when we tried a NB diaper, he leaked right through it the first time we put it on. 

Just try the Size 1s. They probably fit him perfect, and it doesn't hurt to put it on him. Remember to fold down the top for his cord, and remember to point his thing down!

I absolutely hate huggies diapers. Pampers swaddlers are the best IMO
