  • The past week mine have gotten slightly better (around 3wks), but they still hurt somewhat. I have a bad crack on my right nipple that still wont freakin heal though.
  • It stopped killing me around 3 weeks and I was pain free by 4 weeks. It does get better.  DS is 12 weeks now and I don;t feel a thing.
  • week 3 and it just keeps om getting better:)

  • For my right nipple, it became completely pain free at about 10 days.  My left nipple continued to have stabbing pain after that, so I went to the doctor and found out that I have thrush on my nipple and so does LO in his mouth! We probably got it because I had to have antibiotics during labor.  You might want to make sure that you have a good latch and don't have thrush or anything!  Good luck!
  • The pain comes and goes...

Is LO latching right?  That caused a lot of my initial pain.

I am 6 week PP and mine still hurt/ are sensitive.  Warm showers help and using the Lansinoh cream (when I can remember to!) also helps.  Its like a soothing chapstick for your nips!

  • 3-4 weeks thank God! I thought it would never get better!
