::sigh:: I really hate preaching, and I feel like I say this 1,000 times a day, but products that don't have nasty chemicals really do work. Try California Baby shampoo... or Burt's Bee's shampoo ... or anything not by Johnson and Johnson.
I use the Burts Bees and haven't had any problems. The nurses at the hospital told us to only wash his hair once a week though to help prevent against it getting too dry.

We used California Baby up until 2 weeks ago and only 1x per week and still my LO got dry skin on the scalp so we switched to Aveeno baby which is fragrance free (cause fragrance chemicals can be irritating to many...I am a user of Aveeno fragrance free products pre-baby) and her skin has gotten better. I have found that sometimes those more natural products are not as moisturizing.
