Supply on bc

Has anyone noticed their milk supply dropping since going back on birth control? I'm on the mini pill and started it about a week ago and it just seems like my supply has dropped and theres times where he just fusses like he's not getting any milk...

    the mini pill is the only one that shouldn't affect your supply, but it could for a small % of people.

    Could it be the 6 week growth spurt? Maybe try drinking more water and see if that helps. If you really think it's affecting your supply then you could talk to your OB or an LC about switching or doing something to up your supply.

    TTC since 8/13 - diagnosed difficulty conceiving due to LP defect. Took vitamin B and Vitex Berry to help lengthen.
    BFP 2/14 - Missed M/C found at 8.5 weeks. D&C at 9w2d. Partial Molar Pregnancy.

    They told me it shouldn't affect it but I think it could be. THanks... I'll do that.

    check out kellymom.org They have a lot of good info and tips on how to increase your supply if you need to. Fenugreek worked really well for me w/ DD1, but it upset her tummy so I couldn't continue it.

    I started the mini pill at 5 weeks, and the next week, i noticed the same thing.  i was totally freaked out.  turns out, it was his 6 wk growth spurt, and he stopped acting fussy at the breast/constantly hungry a few days later
