Hey ladies. DH has swine flu!! Just my luck, it's FWP week. I am probably going to O within the next 3 days. Should I get DH doped up on cold meds and tell him he has no choice but to BD with me or just consider us out this cycle?
I say it doesn't hurt to try. But who am I to say anything....

Don't do it, your child will be born with a curly tail!

babymimi - did you get the vaccine? If DH has it, it's entirely possible you could catch it too. And right in time for the 2ww, which might not be the greatest of timing. Just my opinion. Plus, from what I've heard, DH may really just not be up for it no matter how you entice him.

No vaccine...I am leaning towards BD-ing anyway and hoping for the best...if DH can do it. Sigh...
It really, really sucks hardcore, but I wouldn't want DH near me if he had h1n1. I wouldn't want to catch that for anything.
You may be right. We'll see what happens. I kind of feel like if I am going to get it, it's too late now for me to prevent it. We were drinking out of the same glass yesterday evening so I think my fate is sealed.

That's what I was going to say. By time you knew he had it, it was probably already too late to prevent you catching it if you're going to catch it.
So I'd say jump his bones anyway if he'll let you.

Oops, the bump booted me! I was trying to say "Lol!"
And in all seriousness, we had the same dilema this cycle where DH was sick and I decided I wanted to do it anyways. Then I got sick. And I'm miserable. BUT, you might catch it anyways and then you'll still be sick and out this month. So I'd probably do it.

This is basically what I was thinking before I even posted but I needed verification that I am not nuts!
Momma to three boys:
Henry - 4yo
Alex - 18mo
Jack - born 2/23/12 at 20w due to ruptured uterus (previa and accreta resulting in hysterectomy)
He only lived here on Earth for an hour, but he will live in our hearts forever.

Update: Just Bd'ed with DH. Wore a surgical mask. The weird part was usually my girly parts are hotter than his boy part but since he has a fever, it was the opposite...
Re: I need advice (swine flu mentioned)
Oh that's ok, I already have 1 child with a curly tail:

I wouldn't risk it - YOU don't want to get swine flu...I'd steer clear of him this week.
