stupid cat

My cat keeps getting into the crib.  She didn't try to do this until LO was born.  DH put some bubble wrap in there which seemed to keep her out, but obviously we have to take it out when we put the baby in.  Does anyone have a tried and true way to keep the cat out?  We have a low book shelf beside the crib, but even if we rearranged the room, something would have to be close enough to the crib for her to jump in.  Any ideas?

I used sticky tape on the mattress.  After kitty got in a couple times, she wanted nothing to do with it.  I also keep a squirt bottle in the room to shoot her in the butt if she tries it when I'm around.

ETA: they also make crib tents if all else fails.

We just bought a crib tent from Amazon for only $6.88.

Well, I used that crib tent/netting and the stupid cat still jumped in. I just squirt her a lot, use the netting, yell when she even looks at it. My cat is really determined though.
