at night? My baby sleeps in the swing so I can't swaddle him. He also likes to suck on his hands so they have to be out. We've been keeping the house at 67 and his little hands are like ice cubes when he gets up! But he slept through the night the past 2 nights so I don't think he's cold.
Re: How warm do you keep your house
68-72 is what is recommended for babies/NBs. I know the hospital kept our room at 72.
We keep our heat at 74, but that's because it's all weird in our house. We keep it at 74 and it's 74 in our room, but 69 in DD1's room and 72 in DD2's room. If it were a bit more consistent, we'd have it set to 72. But poor DD1 would freeze if we did that
And we have ALL the vents closed upstairs except for those in DD1's room. Total PITA!

OUr house is kept at 65, but heats unevenly due to open/high ceilings. We put a space heater in her nursery with a separate inside thermometer and keep it at 70-72 at night. She sleeps in a sleep gown & a miracle blanket swaddle.
