Rebozo?

Does any one have a Rebozo length wrap (2-3 meters)?  Is it useful?  My understanding is that it would basically replace the ring sling.  

I think I am going to go with a longer length wrap, but am tempted by a good deal. Does anyone have one of these and does it have any advantages over a longer woven? And does anyone have a link to ncbelle's blog?

You know I have to say it's good to have both lengths ;-)

Rebozo carries are basically like ring sling carries - some people like rings better; others a slip knot.  For me the big advantage is being able to do ruck under the bum as well (one of my favorite carries).  For that you need at least 2.5 meters and closer to 3 is better for learning it.  I like a short wrap if I'm out running errands and it will be really handy when kiddo is walking better and wants up and down a lot.

Thank you!  I should have just paged you but I thought you might still be eating turkey  

I am still undecided.  Basically I hate my ring sling.  Its a WAHM made model and I have not been able to make it feel safe.  The moby is also too stretchy for us these days, so ultimately I need a long and a short.  You are a bad influence!

ETA:  If you were going to own just 1, what length would it be?  A size 4? (We look to be around the same size).

Honestly, if I were forced to have just one size I'd either get a 3 or 5.  With a 3, I can RUB, rebozo, ruck TIF, and kangaroo.  But now that kiddo is heavier, I really like to be able to double hammock for longer wearing - and I need a 5 or 6 for that.   Of course, I think I'd have to push hard for 2 carriers since I think they have different uses. 

I had a WAHM ring sling that I couldn't ever get comfy either.  I actually just bought a used wrap conversion ring sling this weekend to see how I feel about those.
