FF question....

Does everyone who uses FF use the Advanced charting or has anyone used the OPK version of it? With my crazy erratic temps I don't know that I'll get CHs where they belong, and I have a hard time reading it myself without FF's expertise. I snuck a peek at the OPK version and of course it gives me an excellent chance of BFP, but I don't know that is would give me the best information.

Just wondering what your thoughts were! Thanks!

Wow, you've been doing some FingWP!  I've only had to override FF once.  If you do, wait until the end of your cycle to do it.  It's so much clearer when you have all of the temps so you can see the big picture.  Also it's common for FF to change your O date throughout your cycle.  It looks like your temp will probably go up tomorrow, meaning you O'd today, meaning you had excellent timing.  GL!

Your chart says this is your first cycle post mc.  If that is the case the erratic temps are normal.  But it looks like you ovulated as your temp spiked up today.  I hope this is the case as it looks like your chances are good this cycle.  I was going to say that next cycle your temps should be more normal, but hopefully you won't need to hear that comment!

Honestly, once I think I ovulated, I usually play around with every setting on FF just to see how it changes things, but I'm psycho like that.

I trust my OWN interpretation of my temps and OPKs to determine when I really ovulated. I use FF mostly just to keep track of information.

I use the basic membership right now (since I'm just 2w post D&C), but might get the advanced again next month.  I guess I don't know what the OPK version is?  I did override the month we got pg, because it was the first month we had used OPKs and I was fairly confident of when I O'd. 

Like pp, I use it to track information mostly and interpret a lot myself.  However, I like having FF's interpretation too (hence my pondering getting the advanced memberhsip again). Good luck.

The OPK interpretation just overrides your temps if you have a positive OPK, as far as I can tell. When I tried it (and then changed it back) it showed me a high probability for BFP if I did O on the day I got a positive OPK. It seems less reliable, though.
