Babies on the Brain

Re: TW

  • Hi yourself!  How are you?
  • Loading the player...
  • Ok. Just watching Dogs 101 and anticiptaing Lucy and Henry's love affair.
  • Haha.  Love affair indeed.  He doesn't have any girlfriends :-)  He was so whiny today.  I think it was the rain.  I thought of you when I met Lloyd the St. Bernard.  I tried to take a pic but he trotted off.
  • Oh Lloyd. <3 I am sure he found his home.

In Barstow, there used to be packs of dogs roaming the desert. People would just drop them off in the middle of nowhere. C used to try to make me feel bad for using Lucy's food and putting itoutside, so I started buying dog food just for my strays. My house was the popular one on the block! :)

I spent most of the day looking at dogs online, but I know it won't happen, so its silly to get my hopes up.

  • I'm sure he did.  He was too big to be hit by a car.  He sure was precious though.

How was your Saturday?  How is Leroy?

  • Twas good. We rearranged the living room to make room for good ole Leroy, and he is now a part of our living room and making it smell incredible. We will decorate him tomorrow. I put up all our decorations, did laundry, did the treadmill and got In N Out for dinner (oh, why am I so wise?)

How's yours? One more day of freedom!

  • Yum!  I haven't had In-n-Out for a few months.

My day was good.  We were going to drive into Ontario to see MIL but decided against it with all the rain.  We did get lights to put up tomorrow, a fireplace screen and tools and enjoyed a beautiful fire.  Now we're watching "Toy Story" :-)

I also went to the gym today!  I'm proud of us!

  • YAY for both of us working out!!! I also did the ab vidoe and wanted to cry.

Toy story is a great movie.

  • I almost threw up when we did abs.

Oh and just so you know, Life cereal is not the best thing to eat before you workout.

  • I still ache. But I am seeing good #s on the scale. Odd, but I'll take it.
  • I saw in your blog!  That is wonderful.  My mom keeps mentioning Kaiser having a good weight loss program.  I guess you start with shakes and protein bars (to lose it quickly) then they teach you how to eat.

    I don't think that'd work for me.

  • oh, come on. I know how to eat. That's the entire PROBLEM!! :)

The last visit I had, it printed out that my BMI was in overweight and that I should sign up for the weight loss program. I laughed as I threw it away (as it was from dr.douche, and any reminents of that visit have been put into the recycle bin).

  • Yeah, according to them I'm obese which I think is ridiculous.  Overweight? Yes.  Obese?  No.  Whatevs.  They can suck it.
  • I'm one BMI point from obese!!

The worst part is going through past visit information. I'm trying to schedule my annual, (which is hell on earth at BW, apparently, because they're booked for months in advance), and last December, when I went, I was 171. Oh to see that precious 7 again.

  • Lame.  Seriously.  You'll see that 7 again, and soon the way you're going!  I'm glad my new dr. didn't recommend me lose weight.  I think the added pressure of being told to would suck.  I have enough pressures.

You're far from being obese, sweets.

  • I guess the reassuring thing was at my appointment for my sickyickeys in the middle of Oct, I was 190. Then my visit at the end of October, I was 187 and 2 weeks ago, 185. And today my scale said 183 :)

And, you are perfect as you are. You need to stress about nothing. Ever. So there. :)

  • That is awesome!!  You're doing such a great job.

You're so sweet.  I just had a Mr. Darcy moment in Bridget Jones's Diary "I like you very much, just as you are."  Aww :-)

I'm going to bed now.  It is just so perfect.  Have a good night sweetie.  Love you!

  • LOVIES! Goodnight darling!
