How is your BFing going?  I know the last time I saw you post you had a bad LC that wasn't helping.

We're doing great. We were on the "triple feeding" plan for the last two weeks- breastfeed, then supplement, then pump. It was exhausting. I had pretty much given up on the actual Breastfeeding part because she just screamed her head off and I would end up sobbing. Then, it was suggested to me to give the shield another go, so I did.. and voila! I have a happily breastfeeding baby. She pretty much nursed non-stop for two days as soon as we got in the groove. I couldn't even get up to get her a supplement because she just wanted to eat straight off the tap! We had a pedi appt on Friday and we're back to birthweight, and have been given the clear to EBF. It is SOOO much easier to not have to drag all those bottles and pump stuff into bed at night!!

Thanks for checking on me . I saw that you NIP the other day- so that must mean you are nursing again too! Good for you. I know that took a lot of dedication.

That is great news!  It is amazing how much easier BFing is than pumping and feeding.  

I am pumping after our last feeding to make sure I'm totally empty and then for the middle of the night feeding (DH gives him a bottle).  Pumping twice a day is so much better than 8 times a day.
