Swollen vein in hand...

I had my D&C 2 weeks ago today and the vein in my hand that I had an IV in is now swollen.  I think I might have hit my hand getting Christmas decoration out, but I'm not sure.  I think I might have broke a blood vessel, but it makes me alittle nervous...
