Anyone have their PP check up at 4 weeks?

If so, did you get the all clear then to get back to business as usual? I'm really hoping my Dr will tell me my body is back to normal and that we can have sex again (yes, I know it's only been a week, I'm not having sex until it's okayed by the doc!).

At 4 weeks I could not even fathom having sex yet.  At that point it still hurt to go to the bathroom.  seriously.

i've had 2 babies, with different dr's, and both drs say you can go at it whenever you feel ready as long as your bleeding has totally stopped, and of course- stitches dissolved if you have any.

Yup! A whole week ago already! Seems like both yesterday, and like LO's always been here, all at the same time. Lemme hunt down the link to my birth story that I posted on 3rd tri for you.

I was supposed to have mine at 4 weeks but when I called at 2 weeks PP to make the appt they asked if I was still bleeding.  Since I wasn't, they scheduled me to come in at 3 weeks and I got the all clear for everything.  It was scary but I went for it and it was not that bad!
