Has anybody had a SUPER quick m/c ?

Posted my "intro" this morning.....saw my first red blood at about 11 am. Bleeding was never super heavy, but more than spotting. Only went to the ER b/c the cramping pain because unbearable around 5 pm. The ER Dr. did a pelvic exam and removed the fetus, sac, & placenta from my "vaginal canal" (so it was on its way down). She said my cervix was already closed and what she removed was "in tact", so the worst was over. My hcg she said was also very low. I've had only light spotting since then and no pain.

Despite being sad over the loss, I feel so extremely lucky and blessed that it has all happened so quick.  I was expecting days (weeks?) of this and I was expecting a TON of blood. The whole thing lasted 7 hours start to finish and during that time I never even went through a whole pad.

It just seems so surreal. This morning I woke up 8w3d pg and now I'm eating dinner and I'm 100% not pg anymore...it's all over. Odd.

I am sorry for your loss. I do understand the feeling of it's over so fast. I did have bleeding for a few days but the baby was lost during the night. I went to bed pregnant and woke up not. It was very hard to deal with. The doctor told me it was about to start. I felt helpless.

I hope you find comfort here. I did.

I'm so sorry for your loss--quick or not quick, losing a baby is awful and unfortunately the emotional pain lasts a very long time. ((HUGS))

This is my 2nd m/c and this time my bleeding started when we got BFP @ 4 weeks for 2 days but my hcg was going up nicely so doc said it was nothing. @ 6.5 weeks I started spotting and my hcg dropped and I bleed for 2-3 days and thats it with no pain or cramps.

Im sorry for your loss, I know its very hard to deal with but try and be strong!

Mine was very quick. I'm pretty sure because I wasn't that far along.  My beta was 99 then 66 and the RE said I would miscarry within 7 days.  Three days later I woke up and was bleeding throughout the day got bad during the night (like a very heavy period) by the next morning it was over. I had some bleeding a few days following but nothing heavy.  That was it.  I was pretty surprised by it being so fast. I went to the RE the following Monday and my numbers were already at 0.

I am so sorry for your loss.

My MC was very quick. I passed the embryo and sacs within 4 hours of starting to bleed and my cervix was totally back to normal when I saw the doctor then. After that initial gush I stopped bleeding until the next day when I started again with medium flow. After that day I went back and forth between light flow and spotting.

I miscarried at 11 weeks. I too was expecting it to be painful and long but it wasn't. I started spotting, was put on bed rest on a Wed. Thursday night at 11:41 I went to the washroom and it all came out. No cramps or heavy bleeding leading upto it. Went to the ER m/c confirmed and by the time I was home 3 hours later the bleeding was back to spotting for 2 days.

My story's a little different, but it was definitely over in the blink of an eye.  I got up last Wednesday super excited to see our LO & find out the sex so that we could make the big announcement on Thanksgiving.  Fast forward to the scan at 9am where it's a bit of a blur, but things go "stopped developing weeks ago"...."no hearbeat"..."suggest immediate D&C".  Total shock.  By 8:30 pm I was home from surgery and no longer pregnant.  It's been a totally surreal & awful ordeal that's taken me a few days to process.

My first one - at 7w3d was like that.  I started spotting on Fri, but it was light.  Saturday I spotted a bit more.  Sunday, I passed everything and that was that.

The second one was medically induced and it was over in 24 hours.  The third was a chemical and also quite quick.
