Hi,

I just wanted to introduce myself.  I have been lurking this board for a few days now, and just wanted to finally say hello!  )

This is my first cycle off BCP.  I have read TCOYF, and I have started charting with FF.  So far I think my chart looks like a mess.  If you girls could look at it and tell me what I could do better, and anything I am doing wrong, I would greatly appreciate it. 

I am confused by the temp spike on CD 8.  I noted drinking, but I only had one glass of wine with dinner the night before.  I didn't really think it would make that big of a difference.  And I didn't take my temperature yesterday because I was out BF shopping!  :)

    Welcome to the board! Keep temping and you'll get the hang of it. I think everyones first chart seems to look crazy.

    1st U/S on 10/18 - saw gestational sac! 2nd u/s (10/25) saw a tiny fetus and saw the HB flickering away! 3rd U/S on 11/2 measuring 2 days ahead HB 138! 4th U/S 11/9 - Measured 8w1d - HB 178! released from RE 11/16 U/S - HB 180 everything On track!

    Just try to stick with it and temp at the same time every morning.  Hang in there.  And it looks like you better get sexing with that +OPK today!

    Well, I am a little confused by your AF pattern, you have one medium day and one light day a few days later....is that right or did you not bother to mark it?

    Your temps can be all over the place coming off BCPs and also during AF.  I wouldn't worry to much about irregularities as long as you are temping at the same time every day.

    Hi there!

    Don't fret about one elevated temp--I doubt that one glass of wine could cause that effect, but maybe your normal pre-O temps fluctuate. Mine can be anything between 96.5-97.6 before O.

    Hi and welcome!

    I woudn't worry too much about a single temp spike or drop every now and then. My pre-O temps have ranged anywhere from 96.6 to 97.8. You'll be able to look over your chart and get a better feel for this month's cycle as a whole at the end of it. GL!
