night feeds

Do you feed your LO after you put him down for the night?

If so, how often and how many times?

I have been reading Baby Whisperer and after the "dream feed"  it doesn't seem to suggest night time feeds.

 If you don't feed at night but used to, how did you wean from the feeds?

Dream feeding is just feeding them before they wake up at night so that it's not a struggle to put them back to sleep.  We feed at once at about 4.  There really isn't much of a way to wean them from feeding at night.. you could try to rock them back to sleep before trying to feed them and if it works, they don't need to eat, but if not, then give them the bottle.  I find it easier just to give him a bottle.  He will sleep longer when he's ready.

We do the "dream feed" at about 10:30pm.  We use the paci to soothe if she seems restless and we feed at about 4am...sometimes she will go all the way until 5am.  The amount of times were we needed to soothe with the paci have decreased a great deal this week and she maybe is up once about 2:30am but goes right back to sleep.
